{Italy}

I had the greatest opportunity to go to Italy as an alumni of my high school choir this past June. For it being my first time out of the country, I have to say that going with a group was such a great experience! We visited Rome, Florence, Milan, and drove thru Tuscany countryside (which reminded me alot of the Santa Ynez Valley). We had quick access to amazing tours, visited historical landmarks such as the Colosseum and St. Peter’s Basilica, and also was able to perform with the choir on a number of occasions.

My love of pasta and pictures was a delightful push for me to go on this trip, and my friend Ashleigh and I fundraised for over a year to afford to go (and eat pasta, and more pasta). My camera was by my side the whole time. I noticed my first few days that I could NOT. STOP. Taking photos of the windows and shutters and pretty colorful buildings! I’m not kidding, probably 1/5th of my photos are of windows and shutters….

Here are just a few of my edits from an amazing and unforgettable trip. The only photo I regret NOT taking, is one of my daily lemon (limone!) gelato.
